Tweet Weekly Bulletin is a regular post here on Code My Own Road looking at the most popular articles from around the internet Josh tweeted about during the week.
Hi Folks, I’ve never really been able to keep much of a commitment going with my own weekly roundups here at Code My Own Road because my posting frequency depends on the length of articles that I post and how much time I get during the week to dedicate to them.
As you can imagine a list with one article in it might be a pretty dull list
The one thing that I do actually do with any consistency is tweet about things I find around the internet. That’s also how this concept was born.
Inspired by – and a little jealous of – Dave’s success with his weekly roundups at Website In A Weekend I went to put together my own form of roundup consisting of all the successful tweets I’ve made over the week pointing out all the crazy and cool articles I’ve stumbled upon on the internet.
So here we go, the first even edition of the Tweet Weekly Bulletin:
Link Building Has Changed – SEOmoz
Randfish takes a look at how link building has changed from year 2000 to present day 2009. He looks at what the techniques used to be, and what they are now. I love these types of posts from Rand, it’s great to get a birdseye view of what website owners used to do, and what they are currently doing. Great read.
24 Things I Do When Launching a New Blog – ViperChill
ViperChill is back, baby. Glen from PluginID personal development blog is going back to his roots in website design and marketing with his blog ViperChill. He’s definitely not taking it lightly and he’s come out pulling punches with this awesome article on the first things you should take care of when you’re launching a new blog (or any website based on WordPress for that matter).
Are You Scared Shitless? – Shoemoney
Ahh Shoe, you never fail to tell it like it is and goddammit we love you for it too. If you’re not feeling scared shitless you’re not in deep enough. “Failure is something I can deal with. Regret is not.” – Shoemoney. Keep pushing hard, fail lots, and good things will eventually happen. Don’t look back and think “what if” you acted on that awesome business idea – make it happen.
Brilliant UK electrical plug concept saves space – Unclutterer
Unclutterer uncovers a cool Youtube vid detailing a concept for Apple to think about in their plug design. It takes us through how to change the design of a standard AC adaptor for an iPod or Air and make it as skinny as their product. Very cool.
How to Make Money with Free – Copyblogger
This guest post on Copyblogger by Nathan Hangen really piqued my interest as a Do-It-Yourself-er. How to make money with free is about using your free offerings to make your customers want more and more of you, in turn boosting your paid offerings. Essential reading, plus he links off to lots of great posts in the Copyblogger archives.
As always if you want to be the first to see these awesome hand selected articles – just add me on twitter @jkohlbach.

great information thank you
Josh, thanks for the mention!
These Week in Reviews started to own me, so I’ve started cutting back.
Besides, now everyone is doing them. So it’s not a differentiator anymore.
No big deal, I’ve got other tricks up my sleeve.
