Technology Review: HassleMe Reminder Service

HassleMe Reminder ServiceHassleMe is a reminder service that I came across that lets you set gentle reminders to yourself on a daily basis.

I say gentle because they’re semi-unpredictable. It’s kind of like having your partner, or your parent, or your friends remind you about a recurring event – they aren’t exactly going to wait until you’re ready to tell you they’ll do it in their own time. This tool just lets you set which day – don’t use it for precise timing.

I like it because it’s a simple interface, very easy to set up and you don’t have to register or anything like that.

It’s not something that I do use really regularly (I only have a few hassles set up), but I may end up setting up reminders for semi regular events that I need prodding about. My short term memory is absolutely appalling, so I definitely use all the help I can get.

Here’s a little video on how it works:

Do you guys have any tools like this that you use regularly? Care to share in the comments?
